It might finally be time to get hype for 50 Cent’s long awaited Street King Immortal. The long rumored album has recently been teased again by the rapper to finally be dropping by the end of 2017.
Speaking to Access Hollywood Live, 50 was speaking on the success of his popular show POWER. When the topic of music was hit, the G-Unit frontman revealed “I have a album I been waiting to put out.” He continued “It’s coming out at the end of the year.”
He stated that he intended for it to be a response to the “golf course music” that was Jay-Z’s quickly becoming immortal 4:44.
“It won’t be as smart as the Jay-Z record” Fif said “I want to make music that people can have fun to, so you don’t have to stop.”
Referring to some of the more cryptic lyrics that were found of the Roc Nation mogul’s album, Fif said that his new album, “you get it immediately without having to sit and analyze it.”

The long rumored projected, titled Street King Immortal, has been over five years in the making. It was originally to be dropped in 2012 before being pushed back for unknown reaasons. In 2014 Fif dropped Animal Ambition in the meantime. Yet the project continues. Last December, the rapper stated that after he finally releases Street King Immortal he plans on retiring from his rap career.
“I want to finish with that project” he said “I don’t want to write another record after that.”
Fif recently sold his stake in his vodka brand for over $60 million, and also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live:
