Just after earning the distinction of a number one album, DJ Khaled learned that his latest album Grateful has earned a Gold certification. This is awarded for moving over 500,000 copies.

Taking to Twitter, Khaled shared the news with his followers:

DJ Khaled has had an impeccable run of success with his latest release. Recently his singles “Shining” and “Wild Thoughts” have gone gold, while “I’m The One” has gone triple platinum with over 3,000,000 copies being sold.

Despite this success, this is only Khaled’s second gold certification for an album. Previously, only his 2016 release Major Key has reached the lofty status of a minimum of 500,000 copies being sold. Khaled has enjoyed much more success as a producer of hit singles, from his 2007 efforts “We Takin Over” and “I’m So Hood” to his 2010 classic “All I Do Is Win.”

Khaled recently made news by gifting two of his team members brand new Rolex watches. He gave them for his team’s hard work and loyalty that has brought him continued success. Watch Khaled’s announcement of Instagram below:
