Eyewitness accounts state that Jigga has been filming a new music video in the Marcy Projects of Brooklyn. Reports and photos have appeared on social media showing Jay-Z and his camp shutting down an entire block for filming purposes:
Based on the shots, it’s looking like a minimalistic project in Jigga’s old neighborhood. While he didn’t appear on this set personally, that doesn’t mean he won’t be involved. Reports state that previously unreleased music from Jay-Z was playing as filming commenced, indicating that this was for a new video project.
4:44 is being dropped on June 30, exclusive to both Tidal and Sprint users. Fans have noticed mysterious advertisements promoting 4:44 appearing throughout the country, with a minimalist design to promote the album.
