Saturday night, hip-hop fans in attendance at Turning Stone Resort & Casino’s LAVA nightclub were left in disappointment as Tyga, who was scheduled to perform, did not appear for his set.
Tickets for the show, which was supposed to take place Saturday night and was slated to last until 2am, cost showgoers $35.
Turning Stone, on behalf of LAVA, released a statement. It read, “Tyga informed us last night that due to unforeseen circumstances he was unable to perform at Lava.”
Tyga himself addressed the issues on Twitter, but it’s too little, and too late. The rapper tweeted that he would be unable to appear due to “travel issues” — implying that LAVA was located in Syracuse. It isn’t. Take a look:
I won't be able to make club lava tonight Syracuse due to traveling issues. Sorry:/ Promise to make it up tho!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Ticketholders were given free admission to the nightclub as partial compensation for the mixup. Fans who bought their tickets online will be entitled to a full refund.
Hopefully, he didn’t go to the wrong city! What do you think of Tyga’s no-show? Let us know!
